If you were to lose your data, which file loss would bring you to
tears?
The answer to this question is a good starting point for deciding what to backup. You know your business best but, as a guide, we recommend you consider backing up all your correspondence, financial information, databases, Outlook, stock/inventory records and multimedia files. Finally, think about your desktop items, internet favourites and photographs. Of course, we’re here to help if you are unsure of what to backup and would be happy to talk you through a review of your specific business backup requirements.
There are some things you should
probably make sure you exclude from your backup too. For example, if
you have selected your My Documents folder, you might want to unselect
your My Music folder and iTunes folders. You don't necessarily need to
backup your music with an online backup. If you need to backup your
music files you would be better off archiving them to CD or DVD.
