What happens if a backup is interrupted?
Occasionally, the backup may be interrupted by events such as a power failure, loss of internet connection or cancellation of the backup. Should this happen, all the files that had been transferred prior to the ‘event’ will be secured on our servers and available for restoration (see: Online Backup Manager – How do I recover my data? ). You will be notified of any interruption through Backup.com.au’s automatic email report and will be able to continue the backup from ‘where it left off’ at your next scheduled time or by starting a manual backup (see: Am I able to manually start a backup? )

Lucky we have a backup

Backup.com.au recently had a hard drive crash. Office documents, accounting data, client databases... everything gone.

Luckily Backup.com.au uses Backup.com.au for its data protection. We recovered the lot in 45 minutes.
